Environmental Conservation: MOPF holds 2025 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony

The Ministry of Planning and Finance held the 2025 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony on July 4 at the ministry compound. The event aims to promote environmental conservation, sustainable forest resources, ecosystem balance, and natural disaster prevention.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein, along with deputy ministers, department heads, and staff, participated in planting over 1,000 teak trees at designated sites as part of a national campaign. The Deputy Prime Minister also inspected and encouraged the tree planting activities.
