English Proficiency Training Course: Yangon Region CM delivered the opening speech

The opening ceremony of the "English Proficiency Enhancement Training Course (Main Course)" for basic education primary school teachers was held on April 22 at the Sabai Hall of No. (2) Basic Education High School in Sanchaung Township, Yangon. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended and delivered the opening remarks.

During the ceremony, Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu presented cash of honor for the training program, which were accepted by Dr. Cho Cho Myat Aung, Deputy Director General of the Yangon Region Education Office. The Deputy Director General then provided a briefing on the organizational status and objectives of the training course.

Following the formal proceedings, the Chief Minister and party cordially greeted the attendees. The training program, conducted by skilled instructors for 700 teachers, includes both theoretical and practical lessons and is scheduled to run from April 20 to May 22.

The Chief Minister and party then proceeded to inspect the ongoing roadwork at the entrance and exit of Diamond Jubilee Hall, Yangon University. After officials briefed him on the progress of the construction, the Chief Minister provided necessary instructions for the completion of the project, it’s reported.
