Emergency responses launched in rain-hit places

Emergency responses to flooding and rainstorm have been launched respectively in east China’s Jiangxi and Fujian, since pouring rain and powerful wind hit the two provinces earlier this week.

Since March 31, strong wind and a hailstorm have swept 11 areas of Jiangxi, including the provincial capital Nanchang. The provincial meteorological observatory forecast that the rainy weather will persist in Jiangxi’s southern regions, warning of powerful wind, hails, and lightning and thunder.
