Electrification in Minbu Township: About 85 % of construction works completed

In 2022-2023 fiscal years, 2 transformers and 5miles of 11 KV lines are being installed with a regional budget 278.93 million kyats to supply electricity to 332 houses of YayPawLay village in Minbu township. At present, about 85 % of construction works have been completed and electricity supply will be provided to YayPawLay village before March 2023. 

Ye Myint Tun, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Engineer Office (Minbu), said " If we finished this project, there will 332 houses and 342 household with more than 1000 people benefit from this. They will be more convenient in their businesses and social if available the electricity services. We always tried to give the electricity services in these regions. In the previous years, we have implemented to serve electricity for 15 villages."

In previous years, electricity services available in 53% of villages in Minbu township. At present, about 60.65% of villages are accessible electricity supply and being implemented to provide the electricity supply to all villages before year 2030.
