Electoral Meeting: Correct voter lists and allocation of polling stations

Member of Union Election Commission U Aung Lwin Oo (Magway region In-charge) and member U Min Min Oo together with officials attended a coordination meeting on scrutinizing monthly collected population lists joint conducted by the General Administrative Department, the relevant Election Sub-Commissions, the Ministry of Immigration and Population and the relevant Election Sub-Commissions in Aung Lan and Sinbaung We Townships until the end of October in line with the Law for citizens who are eligible for voting, associate citizens and naturalized citizens on Monday.

The electoral officers from Thayet District Election Sub-Commission reported on the monthly scrutiny of basic voter lists in Aung Lan and Sinbaung We townships. They also discussed the location of polling station and allocation of 374 polling booths and the needs for voting materials. Later, officials from the Ministries gave suggestion on which members of the Union Election Commission coordinated essentials.
