Election Process : Counting of advance ballots in Myitkyina

Advance voting ballots have been opened and counted in respective constituencies. On December 26, Union Election Commission member and Kachin State in-charge U Khin Zaw inspected the advance voting ballot opening and counting process at the township and state election commission offices in Myitkyina.

Advance votes from eligible voters outside their townships including military personnel and their families, students, trainees, detainees, hospital in-patients, and temporarily displaced people, were opened and counted. The process was carried out in the presence of election officials, candidates, and witnesses from political parties.
