Election matter: UEC members held coordinated meeting in Tachileik

The Union Election Commission members U Myint Oo and U Min Min Oo held a coordination meeting on complete and correct voters list and designating polling stations in Tachileik, Mong Sat and Mongton Districts at Tachileik District sub election commission office in the morning on 17th October.

At the meeting, UEC member U Myint Oo said to update the population list monthly for the complete and correct voters list in the relevant townships, to put constant effort for the designation of polling stations, fulfill the materials used by the polling stations and other requirements for the convenience of the voters.

Next, the electoral officials from Mong Sat Township of Mong Sat District and Mongtong Township of Mongtong District clarified the preparations for the designation of polling stations, fulfill the materials used by the polling stations for having complete and correct voters list in the regions and states and designating polling stations, the officials from the district general administration department, ministry of immigration and population and the military station in-charge explained the implementation of pre-election preparations and requirements and the UEC members coordinated necessaries.

In the afternoon, the meeting was continued and the officials concerned from Tachileik district and Tachileik Township, general administration department, military station in-charge, ward and village-tract sub election commission reported the implementation of pre-election preparations and requirements and the UEC members coordinated necessaries and gave a speech of conclusion. In the morning on 18th October, the UEC members U Myint Oo and U Min Min Oo inspected the designated polling stations, it’s reported.
