Elaboration of President’s Speech: MOYA UM delivered the opening address

Union Minister for Youth Affairs, Dr. Maung Thin, delivered a speech at the ceremony to further elaborate on the President's speech, held at the Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Camp (Gold Camp) on April 20.

First, Union Minister Dr. Maung Thin highlighted the points concerning the youth sector from the President's speech. He stated that a great number of outstanding intellectuals, professionals, and human resources are required to build the nation into a developed democratic union.

He emphasized that the country cannot be built by the uneducated or those with low levels of knowledge and education. Since youths are the future and strength of the nation, and the very people who will build it, the youth sector must be actively promoted and supported. Furthermore, he stated that youths must be nurtured to develop the appropriate mindset, concepts, analytical thinking, and rationality suitable for their age and level etc.

Following this, to mark the occasion of the Myanmar New Year, the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister made a New Year donation by presenting 50 Buddha Images and shrines to officers and staff members through a traditional "Mahadok" lucky draw system, after which the ceremony was concluded, it’s learnt.
