Efforts for tourism sector: Hotels at the Bagan conduct preparations for visitors

The hotels at the Bagan Archeological Zone are conducting preparations in advance to offer the good services for the local and foreign visitors during the December and New Year holiday period.

The travel and tourism sector were suspended in Bagan due to Covid-19 pandemic. While the State carried out the implementations to promote the tourism sector this year, starting from Thadingyut and Tazaungdaing festivals, booming with travelers at the Bagan, Inlay, Pintaya and resorts, in addition, the job opportunities and income generating can be created for the local residents.

There are 154 hotels and guesthouses and 75 guesthouses supervised by the City Development Committee at the Bagan Archeological Zone, it’s reported.
