Efforts for Rural Development: Union Minister inspects road and bridge construction

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Friday afternoon inspected rural road and bridge construction processes in Pobbathiri Township for socioeconomic development of rural people.

First, the Union Minister inspected the construction of the 450 feet long Sin Thay ဆင်သေ Creek-crossing Bridge on the Zikon-Laytha-Thayettaw Road and called for efforts for quality construction and timely completion.

He also inspected the Zikon-Laytha rural road construction and gave necessary instructions. Upon completion, the Bridge and the rural road will bring benefits to 11 villages.

Also, at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister met with officers and staff of the Small Scale Industries Department, fulfilled their requirements and had lunch with them together.
