Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min inspected construction of the 112 feet long Ngapali-Mazin Bridge in ZiPhyuKone Ward of Ngapali Township.

After hearing report on the construction process, the Chief Minister called for efforts for quality construction and timely completion. He also attended the 2-storey building and staff housing hand-over ceremony donated by the Rakhita Thiha Co. Ltd., to the post primary school in the village.

Managing Director of the Company explained the donation and handed over the building and housing-related documents to the Thandwe Township education officer. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister toured the new school building.

He also visited the Yadana Pyo May traditional bags and souvenir shop which is a small and medium enterprise before inspected the Ngapali reservoir distributing water to locals and hotels in Ngapali Township.

The Chief Minister also attended an event at the DwarYaWaDi Hall in Thandwe Township to explain the locals agricultural, livestock and MSME programmes to be conducted under the state economic promotion fund.

In his remarks, the Chief Minister said that the Rakhine State received 10 billion Kyats of grant from the country’s economic promotion fund. He urged concerned officials and locals to verify the use of grant, to keep record of benefits received, to inspect project activities, to form necessary committees, to monitor and to evaluate.

And, the officials and attendees made discussions on the agricultural, livestock and MSME programmes to be conducted under the state economic promotion fund. Also, the Chief Minister presented urea fertilizer to farmers and growers before viewing the local SME products.
