



Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with officials of the Young Men's Buddhist Association (YMBA) and the Interfaith Group at the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw Monday.
At the meeting, the Union Minister said that the government is giving priority to peace and stability. Efforts are being made to ensure that the people can live peace of mind and conveniently for food. He added that they respect the officials of the Interfaith Group and called for cooperating in the measures that the citizens to know the basic principles of religion.
The Union Minister added that the ministry is working to disseminate accurate information to the people through various media ways and will continue to cooperate more with all. The Prime Minister is focusing on education and promoting it and carrying for the nation’s economy and development.
He called on the Interfaith Group to work together for the peace and stability of the country. Later, Chairman of YMBA reported on activities of the association and conducting 38 Mingalar Dhama Welfares and Abidhama training via online. The Secretary of YMBA and Vice Chairmen of the Interfaith Group and officials reported on plans for stability and development of the country.
