

Educative talk for cultivation of pre-monsoon long staple cotton with modern technology to farmers was held at Ka Tat Kone Village, Myaing Kone Village-tract in Myint Thar Township, Kyaukse District.
The educative talk was organized by the Department of Agriculture with the aim for the development of the socio-economic life of the farmers by increasing income per acre.
Staff Officer, Department of Agriculture, Maung Maung Nyein said "Our country stands at the third place of importing cotton products from abroad. So, in order to reduce importing cotton products to some extent, we organize the educative talk to the farmers. Cotton plants are the most suitable to grow in this area depending on the weather conditions. By cultivating and producing cotton, farmers can enjoy development of socio-economic life."
The farmers from Myaing Kone Village- tract attended the educative talk and the officials from the Department of Agriculture explained the details about the cultivation of pre-monsoon long staple cotton with the use of modern technology.
