Educational Cooperation: Education Union Minister Receives Russian Ambassador

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe met with Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov on Monday afternoon at a meeting room in Office No. 13 of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they held an open and friendly exchange of views on matters related to enhancing educational cooperation between Russia and Myanmar, scholarship programs, improving the capacity building of Russian language teachers, and Russian language teaching initiatives.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister for Education Dr. Zaw Myint and many other concerned officials as well as Ms. Anastasia Solovieva, an official from the Russian Embassy in Myanmar.
