Educational Assistance: MOALI provided educational assistance for staffs ‘children

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung delivered a speech at the event to provide school uniforms and stationery for the children of the ministry’s civil servants who will attend primary, middle, and high schools during the 2025–2026 academic year, held at the assembly hall of the Union Minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw on May 28.

In his speech, the Union Minister emphasized that education is the foundation for shaping a better future for the nation. He stressed the motto: “Education first, education second, and education third,” and encouraged young people to make the most of their learning opportunities while they are still young.

He also highlighted the importance of collaboration among students, parents, and teachers, and urged parents to provide the best support they can. If any difficulties arise in relation to their children's education, he encouraged them to report the issues through the appropriate departmental channels and stated that direct communication would also be welcomed if necessary to ensure timely and effective solutions.

Following the address, the Union Minister and officials distributed support packages for 2,622 students who will be studying basic education in the 2025–2026 academic year, each student received 1 set of school uniform, 1 dozen blank notebooks, 1 dozen pens and pencils. The total value of the support provided amounted to 62.535 million kyats.
