Education a strategic pillar to achieve 2045 Golden Indonesia

Former trade minister in Indonesia said that education is a strategic pillar in building the civilization of a nation, especially to achieve the 2045 Golden Indonesia. He said Indonesia needs many skill development platforms as most of the 280 million population in the country are young and productive generation.

He also said, skill development platforms will not only enable the young people to compete but also to stay relevant with the times. There are less than 45,000 lecturers and researchers with doctoral degrees in Indonesia, compared to China and India, which each have one million.
