Education Sector: MOE Union Minister attends International Conference

A delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein attended “high-level international conference on "Current issues of inclusive education in the world: context, policy and practice" which is being held in Moscow of Russian Federation from 10th to 13th December under UNESCO patronage.

At the opening ceremony, President of RUDN University Filippov Vladimir Milhailovich served as the Chairman and the high-level officials of the organizations of Russian Federation made discussions. During the plenary session, Union Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein delivered a speech under the topic, “Building and Inclusive Education System: Myanmar’s Efforts”.

In the evening, the closed meeting on “Development meeting of International Cooperation to Ensure Access to Quality Education” was held. During the meeting, the Union Minister made discussions on international cooperation for Myanmar’s education sector, signing of MoUs, MoAs and AUN-AUA with international universities, implementations of UNESCO in Myanmar and plans for further cooperation
