Education Sector: Inauguration of Upgraded Basic Education High School

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended inauguration ceremony of upgraded basic education high school in SanMaGyi Village of Magway Township.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that education is important for everyone because education is the only way to develop human talent.
In order to reduce the cost of parents and the community for basic education, the government has been providing teaching aid to students for free. In order to have equal access to education in urban and rural areas, basic education schools are being upgraded.
The Chief Minister also urged teachers to nurture educated persons and called for cooperation on development of schools. Concerned officials also explained the school-upgrade process and history of the school. The Chief Minister also provided sports gear to the School and cash awards to students who staged performances marking this school-upgrade event.
