Education Promotion: Upgrading of Village Branch School to High School level

Kwan Hlar Village Branch High School in Chaung Sone Township has been upgraded to the Basic Education School level.

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the ceremony, held at the school on Friday. The upgraded school is equipped with a newly built two-storey building, measuring 130 ft wide and 30 ft long. The local community and donors made collective contributions for the convenience of the students.

In implementing the comprehensive education system, priorities have been given to promoting education standards, providing basic infrastructure and teaching aids, and conducting training courses. Moreover, technical and vocational education opportunities have been provided during the high school level.
