Education Promotion : Non Formal Education achievement ceremony

A ceremony to mark the achievement of informal education program of Post Primary-Sannchi (ethnic based camp) in 2025-2026 academic year was held in Dawei on Sunday.

Chief Minister U Myat Ko stated that the government is implementing the Non Formal Education program while striving for development of education and health sectors. Likewise, the Ministry of Education is implementing the National Education Strategic Plan.

He stressed that it is an opportunity to have second chance for pursuing education through Non Formal Primary Education-NFPE and Non Formal Middle Education-NFME. In 2025-2026 academic year, Level-1 NFPE was provided to 147 people, and Level-2 NEME to 53 individuals, totaling 200.

Besides, there were policies for the students to be able to transfer from Non Formal Primary Education to Non Formal Middle Education and then to Basic Education High School Grade - (10). He urged the students to emphasize for education promotion for development of the regions.
