Education Promotion: MOE Union Minister met with faculties and teachers

Union Minsiter for Education Dr Nyunt Pe met with the faculties of Dagon University and examiner teachers for the matriculation exams in Yangon on Saturday.

The Union Minister stressed to provide the required funds for the reference books of each subject and development of the library.

He also pledged to provide assistance for conducting research, books and periodicals, internet facility and other equipment needed for doing research.

He also said to appoint more demonstrators and lecturers for the vacant posts. The attendees later reported on the academic matters, promotion for the primary and middle school teachers, staff affairs and the needs of staff housing.

The Union Minister later visited Yankin Education Degree College and met with the trainees of first year students for the Bachelor of Education Degree.

He urged all to make strenuous efforts to be skillful in their respective subjects. The Union Minister later visited Yangon University and viewed the process of examining the answer papers of matriculation exams.
