Education Promotion: Launching of Research Report on SEA-PLM 2024

The Launching Event of Regional Research Report on Southeast Asia Primary Learning Metrics programme (SEA-PLM) 2024 was held in Manila of the Philippines on December 4th.

Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Education U Nay Myo Hlaing attended the event where Union Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein sent a video message. In her message, the Union Minister stated that the SEA-PLM is a crucial part of the ASEAN Education Framework, and called for coorperation among the ASEAN member states to achieve equal education quality and development. Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing also discussed that the completion of Regional Research Proposal of SEA-PLM 2024 will help develop the education system in the region, and the Ministry would use the outcomes of the report as the guidelines for assessment process.

The event was attened by responsible personnel from International organizations such as SEAMEO, ASEAN, SEA PLM Secretarist, UNICEF, AKCF as wella as the Ministers and Deputy Ministers for Education across ASEAN member states.
