Economic Meeting: C-In-C Meets With Umfcciand Brother Associations

Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and Brother Associations on Wednesday.

In the meeting at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw, the Senior General stressed a series of matters including no restrictions for businesses during the state of emergency period, acceleration of COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment, continuation of international relations and implementation of the policies, COVID-19 impacts on the socioeconomic life of people, resumption of businesses including garment industry in line with COVID-19 guidelines, actions against the travelers who break the COVID-19 rules, export of quality products and local tourism plan.

The Senior General pledged to improve the nation’s economic situation.

Attendees reported on a series of matters including their work processes, challenges and needs and the Senior General pledged to provide assistance.
