






Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the officials from the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries and affiliated associations in Yangon on Friday.
Officials reported on work undertakings including boosting export items, upgrading and building of internationally recognized laboratories, agriculture development, availability of skill workers and technologies, meeting the quality of imported raw materials, granting trading tax at lower rate, providing assistance for generating the renewable energy, efforts for using a wide range of Electric Vehicles in transportation, organizing the expos for market penetration of local products, job creation for people, boosting export markets, harmonious cooperation among the government, entrepreneurs and associations for economic development, import of ICT related items with lower tax rate, and organizing of gem emporium with the sales of Myanmar currency.
The Union Ministers explained the efforts for development of state economy, providing assistance for MSME development, speedy process for issuance of license, assistance being provided for technologies and capitals for agriculture and livestock products, development of using electric vehicles and economic development measures.
The Prime Minister later made a speech, saying that the government is encouraging for development of MSME businesses, and engaging in agriculture and livestock sectors could bring great benefits for economic development of the state. He called for fully cooperation of the UMFCCI for economic development of the country.
