Drugs Seizures: Thousands of stimulant tablets, opium seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region and Shan State.

In Thazi Township area of Mandalay Region and in Kengtung Township area of Shan State, over 8,800 stimulant tablets and 1 kilogram of opium were seized. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
