Drugs Seizures: Drugs, arms and ammunition seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region and Kayin State.

In Maha Aungmyay and Amarapura townships of Mandalay Region, 680,000 stimulant tablets worth over 1 billion Kyats were seized.

In connection with this case, 3 kilograms of ICE, 900 grams of ketamine, arms, ammunition and a vehicle were confiscated in Myawaddy Township of Kayin State. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
