Drugs Seizure: Heroin, stimulant tablets worth over 1.6 bln Kyats seized

Illegal drugs were seized in Mandalay Region.

In Myitnge Township of the Region, 40.7 kilograms of heroin and 400,000 stimulant tablets worth over 1.6 billion Kyats were seized.

The seizure led to an arrest of 2 men. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
