Drugs seized: ICE and Ketamine arrested in Pyin Oo Lwin

1500 kilograms of ICE (methamphetamine) and one Kilo of Ketamine were arrested in PyinOoLwin Township of Mandalay Region, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on tip-off, at 9 AM on October 8, a combine team included members of Anti-Narcotic Drugs Police Task Force searched PyinOoLwin bound DONGFENG 6-wheelers from Moe Goke driven by Ngwe Aung accompanied by Min Min near HsinSarKone Village on Moe Goke-PyinOoLwin Road.

The combined team confiscated 1500 kilograms of ICE (methamphetamine) worth over 30 billion Kyats in market price and one Kilo of Ketamine. According to the investigation, the confiscated drugs were carried from Shan State (North) to Rakhine State. The suspects have been arrested under the Law and perpetrators of the crime chain are being investigated and identified, it is learnt.
