Drugs Seized: Heroin And Stimulant Tablets Arrested

The heroin and stimulant tablets worth over 300 million Kyats were arrested in Namkham Township, Shan State (North), according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, the combined forces including the members of Anti-Narcotics Task Force stopped and searched a TOYOTA HILUX REVO vehicle driven by Khar Aung  from Muse to Namkham  at Mamkham  ward of Namkham  Township at 8 p.m. on June 21 and arrested 5.94 kilos of heroin and over 200,000 stimulant tablets. According to the investigation, the drugs were carried from Kutkai  to Namkham  Township. The action was taken against the suspect and investigation is underway to uncover the drug cartel.
