Drug Seizures: Heroin, Stimulant Tablets Seized in Kachin State and Yangon Region

Drugs were seized in Kachin State and Yangon Region. In Myitkyina of Kachin State, 630 grams of heroin and 400 stimulant tablets were seized – the seizure led to arrest of 2 men and a woman.

Also, in Tamwe Township of Yangon Region, 6,000 stimulant tablets were seized – a man was arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway, and, actions were taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
