Drug Seizures: Heroin, ‘Ice’ Worth Over 750 Million Kyats Seized

Heroin and ‘ice’ were seized in Waingmaw and Yebyu townships, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs. 2.409 kilograms of heroin worth over 190 million kyats were seized in Waingmaw Township area of Kachin State – 2 men were arrested along with the seizure.

Also, 14.204 kilograms of ‘ice’ worth over 560 million kyats were seized in Yebyu Township area of Tanintharyi Region – a man was arrested for possession of the drug.
