Drug Seizure: Narcotic Drugs Seized in Kalaw, Tachileik& Muse

A combined team comprising of Shan State Police Force seized 1,800 stimulant tablets while searching an old tent in Kalaw on 9th May.

On the evening of that day, police confiscated 48,000 stimulant tablets, 20-liter of smell liquid, 100 moulds for pressing tablets, 50 moulding heads  on board of a Toyota sport car near KyaPha village-tract in Tachileik township. In connecting that case, police searched auto cash service in HsanSai ward in Tachileik and seized 1.5 kilos of raw opium, 6.5 liters of smell liquid, W and Y brand blocks, a canter type vehicle and a motorcycle together with culprits.

On the 10th May, police also seized 1,801 stimulant tablets at the house of SaiAikYone in Naung Yan village, Muse Township. Actions are being taken against the culprits under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
