Drug Seizure: Ice, Heroin And Stimulant Tablets Seized

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, police who were undertaking security measures in Mong Pyin Township, Shan State (East) seized 762 kilos of ICE kept in 38 backpacks and one mobile while searching Revo car driven by Le Har near 16-mile junction on Kengtung-Taunggyi motor road on Sunday.

Likewise, members of Anti-Drug Squad confiscated 400 stimulant tablets with WY brand and 2 mobiles from Htut Aung Lwin and Kyi Khine in front of Myanmar Palaza in Bahan Township, Yangon on the same day. In connection with this case, police searched the house of Ma Aye Aye Win @ Su Hlaing at Lin Lun North ward in San Chaung Township and seized more 168,800 stimulant pills, one mobile and 67,000 kyats.

Moreover, members of Security Force seized 220 grams of heroin kept in 22 soap cases, 5,700 stimulant tablets with 88/1 brand and 50,000 kyats putting in travel bags while searching temporary tents at Thaya Kone ward in Namt Kham, Shan State (North) on the same day.

Actions were taken against the suspects under the Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
