Drug Seizure: Heroin worth over 1 billion Kyats seized

Illegal drug was seized in Sagaing Region.

In Monywa Township of the Region, 21.78 kilograms of heroin destined for Homalin Township worth over 1 billion Kyats were seized.

2 men were arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
