
1.35-ton of controlled chemical substance (Caffeine) worth over 100 million kyats was seized in Tachileik Township, Shan State (East), according to Myanmar Police Force.
A combined team of Anti-narcotic Drug Unit searched 12-wheel Nissan driven by Sai San Khae (စိုင်းဆန်ခေး) from Tachileik to Kengtung at the Mae Yan (မယ်ယန်း) Inspection Gate in Tachilek Township, Shan State (East) on 28th December and seized over 1.35-ton of controlled chemical substance (Caffeine) worth over 100 million kyats, 2 large mixers and 2 small mixers on board of vehicle.
According to the investigation, the seized controlled chemicals (Caffeine) were transported to Kun Hein Township, Shan State (South) via Tachileik through Mekong river route. The culprits are taken actions in line with the law and investigation is underway to take actions to those who committed the crime.
