About 1,500 drones form a dragon in the sky during a performance titled ‘The Legend of The Dragon Gate’, above the Marina Bay waterfront in Singapore, as part of Lunar New Year celebrations.

The story draws on the legend of the dragon gate (longmen), which is said to lie at the top of a waterfall that flows from a mythical mountain. Carps that are persistent enough to swim upstream and make the final, brave leap through the dragon gate are believed to turn into a powerful dragon.

Shimona Sylvia, Spectator said "And then we saw the exhibition and it was really beautiful. And like there was this huge dragon and you can see that it crosses Marina Bay Sands. It was beautiful and it was very calming. "

Filled with themes of family, reunions, and perseverance, and many symbols of luck and prosperity, the light show is an auspicious one to usher in the Year of the Dragon.
