Donation of Solar Lamps: CMFA donated solar lamps to the ministries and office

The China-Myanmar Friendship Association, September 17, donated household solar lamps to the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and the Union Auditor General's Office in Nay Pyi Taw for use by staff affected by natural disasters.

During the donation, Chairman of Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) U Tin Oo,  and members presented 100 sets of household solar equipment worth approximately 10 million kyats to Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn for the families of staff at the Ministry of Information; 100 sets worth about 10 million kyats to Union Minister U Hla Moe for the families of staff at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development; 150 sets worth about 15 million kyats to Union Minister Dr. Soe Win for the families of staff at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement; and 100 sets worth about 10 million kyats to Union Auditor General Dr. Khin Naing Oo for the families of staff at the Union Auditor General's Office.

The relevant Union Ministers and the Union Auditor General received the donations at their respective ministries and offices and presented certificates of honor in return, it’s reported.
