Donation Ceremony in Myingyan: Bicycles & school uniforms donated to schools

Member of the State Administration Council Wunna Kyaw Htin Thiri Pyanchi U Mg Ko and wife donated bicycles for the students and school uniforms and bags for the teachers from Basic Education Schools at Myingyan Township in Mandalay Region.

At the donation ceremony, Chairman of Myinyan District Administration Council gave an opening speech and the District Administration Council members provided the donation items to the teachers and students.

Chairman, Min Aung, District Administration Council said "The State Administration Council Member and wife donated bicycles, school uniforms and bags to the students and teachers from Myingyan, Aung Thar and Natogyi townships. Bicycles are donated for the students nearby villages for their convenience when they come to school."

At the ceremony, 65 bicycles for the students and 890 uniforms and bags for the teachers from Basic Education Schools in Myinyan Township were donated.

Student, Wai Hinn said "I’m very pleased to get a bicycle because I have difficulties on coming to school. Now, I can attend school regularly. I’d like to say thanks to concerned officials for providing bicycles."

Likewise, the donation will be made at the remaining Basic Education Schools in Taung Thar and Natogyi Townships, it’s reported.
