Doctor: Maradona to remain in hospital longer

Diego Maradona's doctor on Thursday said the Argentine football icon had experienced episodes of "confusion" linked to "withdrawal symptoms" which would extend his recovery in hospital after an operation for bleeding in his skull. Maradona underwent a surgery on Tuesday to remove a subdural hematoma, which is an accumulation of blood between a membrane and his brain.
