The State Administration Council is endeavouring for the development of the State by adopting 5-point Road Map and 9-objectives.
The Prime Minister also invited all ethnic armed organizations to make free and open discussions without restrictions in order to have eternal peace. Due to invitation, discussions could be made with 10 ethnic armed organizations and it is meeting with some ethnic groups for the second time.While striving for eternal peace, the Arakan Army (AA) group attacked with enormous force to the border guard police outpost at BP-40 border post between Myanmar and Bangladesh on 31st August morning by ignoring the state's peace invitation.Myanmar Border guard police Force is conducting security measures day and night in order to have no illegal immigration along Myanmar-Bangladesh border, no smuggling of drugs and contrabands and to maintain peace, stability and the Rule of Law along the border. On doing so,AA groups committed ambush attacks on the border police and blocked and cut communication channels with the aim to carry illegal goods including drugs and contrabands and disrupting peace and stability in the border area.
On 31st August, they attacked a border guard police outpost with a small force at BP-40 border post between the two countries by enormous force. Although members of the Border Guard Force fought bravely and attacked, the outpost was lost by the ambush attack with the enormous force of the AA group and some border guard members lost their lives. The security force continues to perform necessary measures by taking reinforcements to reoccupy the camp.
In regard with the brutal attack and killing by AA group to border guard police members who are performing security measures for ensuring peace, stability and Rule of Law in the border area during the time when the government is making efforts for achieving eternal peace from all corners, the local ethnic people are worried that the occurrence of fighting again will destroy peace and stability that they have gained, it is learnt.
