Discussion On Health: MoH Union Minister Received Japanese Delegation

The Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khine Win received a delegation led by Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, the Chairman of Nippon Foundation at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the evening on 14th November.

At the meeting, the matters on providing humanitarian assistance regarding COVID-19 disease by the Nippon Foundation to Myanmar, the medicines and medical equipments required for the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, contribution of hospital and medical centers, status for donation of COVID-19 vaccines by Japan to Myanmar, measures to be implemented for the improvement of Japan-Myanmar bilateral relation, resuming hospital construction and upgrading works undertaking with the assistance of Japan were discussed.
