Discussion on Anti- Corruption: DIP and ACC jointly held the awareness discussion

Jointly organized by Department of Immigration and Population and Anti-Corruption Commission, anti-corruption awareness discussion was held at the Ministry of Immigration and Population on 25th July.

Union Minister U Myint Kyaing, Deputy Minister, Anti-corruption commission member U Aung Myint Lwin and officials, as well as members of Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU) attended the discussion.

In his speech, the Union Minister underscored the importance of combating corruption as it’s the main hindrance to the development and urged all the individuals under the government departments to fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with the existing laws and procedures upholding the integrity and civil service ethics.

Next, Anti-Corruption Commission member encouraged the active participation of the civil servants in anti-corruption activities for the emergence of intigrated and trustworthy society. After making disussions on anti-corruption laws and procedures, the ceremony was concluded.
