Disability Registration: Registration cards presented to 52 PWDs from Nay Pyi Taw

A pilot project for disability registration was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

The project is being carried out in Pobba Thiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Hlaingthaya Township of Yangon Region, Pa-An of Kayin State and NyaungLayPin of Bago Region initially.

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thet Thet Khaing and officials presented the registration cards to 52 persons with disability from Pobbathiri Township.

Among the recipients are 37 persons with physical disability, 1 with visual impairment, 4 with hearing impairment, and 10 autisms.
