Digital Government Award: MoSWRR received ASOCIO Digital Government Award 2022

The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) Digital Summit 2022 held at the Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre in Singapore on 28th October, 2022 was attended by the director general of the Social Welfare Department Dr. San San Aye and one representative from related field on behalf of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettle.

During the morning and afternoon sections of the meeting, Digital Trust Forum was held and attended by the regional and international IT technicians, experts from the universities, CEO, CFO and responsible persons from the IT companies and discussed frankly under 14 topics.

At the Gala Dinner of the Summit, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettle won the ASOCIO Digital Government Award 2022 with Case Management Information System-CMIS which is a sector of Social Management Information System (SMIS).

Before accepting the award, the video message of the Union Minister was screened and the director general of the Social Welfare Department Dr. San San Aye accepted the award and presented memorable gifts to the Chairman of Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) and officials.

During the 2022 ASOCIO Digital Summit, a total of 54 awards including Digital Government Award were conferred by 14 countries.
