Development Works : Opening new roads and agriculture works

Hailing the 64th anniversary Peasants’ Day, a new concrete road was commissioned into service in Yaykyi Township of KyonePyaw District on Saturday.

Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region U Tin Maung Win attended the opening ceremony and inspected the newly opened road. The Chief Minister and party later visited Nwa Yay Taik Village-tract and viewed the thriving summer paddy plantation.

At KanyinNgu Village, the Chief Minister inspected 200-acre summer paddy plantation, irrigated by the river water pumping project. Officials reported on work implementation for irrigation purposes and the Chief Minister instructed for cultivation of monsoon and summer paddy and oil crops, meeting the target.

They then inspected the installation of solar-powered energy at the river water pumping project. The Chief Minister and party also inspected construction of retaining wall, and prevention measures of river bank erosion. Likewise, the Chief Minister and party attended the opening ceremonies of new concrete road and production in Yaykyi Township.
