Development Works: Chief Minister inspects restoration projects in Bago

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, along with government officials, conducted field inspections of ongoing development and construction projects across Bago city on Saturday.

At Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, they reviewed the all-round renovations and gold plating process, and instructed officials to emphasize on safety measures. They then visited the project site at Hanthawaddy Ancient City Wall, supervising drainage improvements and construction safety.

On arrival at Kyauk Kyi Su Ward flood control project, the Chief Minister instructed for ensuring minimal impact on local homes and proper water drainage into the Bago River. They also inspected the bored pile-based retaining walls and new park construction along Yangon–Mandalay Road Bridge area, and emphasized for timely completion and proper connection with existing structures. They also monitored the restoration of the historic site according to its original design near Thainni Gate.

At Kambawza Thadi Palace, they inspected multi-level upgrades, ensuring cleanliness, proper maintenance of public toilets, seasonal flower planting, and preservation of historical structures with expert guidance.
