Development Works: Chief Minister inspects development projects in Kalaw

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung visited Kalaw on March 11 to inspect local development projects. He first oversaw the construction of a brick fence at the Kalaw Township Sports Ground and instructed officials to complete the work properly, plant large trees, and reinstall boundary markers along Kalaw Creek.

The Chief Minister also inspected the indoor sports hall to be ready for public use and instructed officials to keep the sports ground clean and remove unnecessary items. During the visit, he also observed the completed riverbank retaining wall along Kalaw Creek, renovation work at the Township Information and Public Relations Department office, the “We Love Kalaw” photo area near Kalaw Railway Station, and drainage construction along the road to the station.

He later inspected the construction of a concrete bridge over Nan Thae Creek on the road to Nan Tine Village and gave instructions to ensure proper completion of the project.
