Development Works : Chief Minister inspects development projects

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and officials visited Shwe Nyaung in Taunggyi Township on Saturday to inspect the chosen site for a futsal stadium.

The Chief Minister instructed to meet standard specifications. They then inspected sand dredging activities at Heho Innkhaung  Dam in Kalaw District. The Chief Minister emphasized the environmental protection, proper waste management, and preventing crop planting near the water outflow area.

They then visited nearby farmland, including a 1-acre monsoon paddy pilot plot and a 10-acre seed production field. They also visited Heho Airport and observed a helicopter seed bombing campaign in the Inle Lake watershed area. A total of 200,000 seed balls of native tree species were dropped on mountain slopes near Ingyin Kone and Hti Hlaing Villages as part of a reforestation program.
