Development Works: Agriculture and rural development in Nattalin

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, together with regional ministers, on Sunday visited Nattalin Township to promote agricultural development.

He inspected a 40-acre high-yield paddy field in Ywatha Kone Village-tract, reviewing soil nutrients and natural fertilizers, and advised farmers on sustainable fertilizer use, livestock integration, and preparing for the next paddy cultivation season. He then visited Shwe Lin Hall to oversee the progress of upgrades, and instructed for long-term maintenance, and readiness for public events.

The Chief Minister also observed EM Bokashi compost production in Kan Tha Village, and instructed to expand natural fertilizer production and ensure affordable local sales. He later proceeded to a farm machinery workshop, and encouraged affordable production of multi-crop threshers and supporting innovation, technology access, and financing for local farmers.
