








Myanmar Judo Federation and Yangon Region Sports and Physical Education Department jointly conducted a Basic Judo Training Summer Course, and the closing ceremony was held on Saturday.
Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan said summer sports training has been conducted all across the country, and it benefited not only for health but also moral and physical fitness.
He urged the trainees to strive to become the athletes who could bring honour for the country by trying their best. The officials later presented the Judo Ranking Belts, completion certificates, and uniforms to the trainees and honorary cash awards to the outstanding training.
The Union Minister later viewed the training by the table tennis players. He also inspected the fencing around the National Swimming Pool compound and gave instructions for beautifying tasks.
They later proceeded to Myanmar Badminton Federation in Lanmadaw Township, and stressed the needs to make cooperative works among the federations and the ministry.
He pledged to fulfill the needs of the federation and to report the requirements in timely manner. The Union Minister later viewed the players, undergoing the badminton training.
The Union Minister and party later arrived Myanmar Tennis Federation in Thein Phyu Tennis Court and met with the officials . He called for cooperation of the federation so as to nurture the outstanding players for the country.
On arrival at Myanmar Equestrian Federation in Dagon Myothit North Township and urged to make cooperation with the Equestrian Clubs for achieving the progress. He later inspected the training ground.
The Union Minister and party later visited the Sports and Physical Education Institute (Yangon) and inspected the mess hall, kitchen and the chosen sites for building new hostels.
